 Richard has worked hard trying to push the business to new levels and we are proud to anounce that we are now one of the official sponsors of York City Knights Rugby RLFC. We have five regular DJ's - they are Richard, Glen, Steven, Patrick and Jayne. B & G Discos was started nearly 25 years ago. Richard bought the business in 2007 the previous owner still plays a part in the business and has since started a new business providing mobile bars for functions . Richard has since breathed new life back into B & G Discos and expanded the range of services offered by incorporating the 'Entertainment Specialist' side of the business. Richard used to own a bouncy castle business in York called the 'Bouncy Castle Man', he has also organised big events for the York Special Care Baby Unit (from fun days on the Knavesmire, to a big concert at the Barbican Centre in York) - so his knowledge of event management is extensive. Steven is very theatrical He has written and produced some fantastic plays for theatre and has also appeared on the West End stage in London. He has worked all over the world. He has been a radio presenter in Corfu and also worked in Las Vegas as a wedding organiser. Steven is our Main Wedding / Event coordinator and will ensure your event goes as smoothly as possible. Glen is new to the mobile disco scene but has worked as a dj in clubs he is currently studying at university for a music degree and has just received a recording contract for the music he produces he has learnt how to work as a mobile dj with working closley with Richard he has a good knowledge of music and is a good all rounder specialising more in the 18/21st birthdays (mainly due to his age) Jayne is Richards Wife and she has worked with Richard from the begining and has become a very good DJ in her own right. Jayne can also get you dolled up for your event as she is also a mobile beauty therapist As you can see - with all this knowledge available - we really can make your event special Patrick worked with Richard from the start of 2007 when Richard took over the business and is a very good all round dj. He had a short break and moved to London but we are glad to say he is back and raring to go.   |
